Start with the care label
These are general care ideas for a demo collection. Always follow the instructions supplied with your actual piece. Appliance and washing suitability are not verified for the sample products.
01 / Ceramics & tableware
A gentle touch for everyday favourites.
Glazes, surfaces and finishes vary from piece to piece. Let the instructions for your own cup or bowl guide how you use and clean it.
- Clean gently. Use the cleaning method recommended for the piece. Where hand washing is advised, choose a soft cloth or sponge and rinse away residue.
- Give it time to dry. Dry each piece before putting it away. Take care when stacking so rims and surfaces do not knock together.
- Keep changes gradual. Avoid sudden changes between very hot and very cold conditions. Check the product instructions before using any appliance.
02 / Vases & decorative pieces
For the details that make a room.
A little attention to where a piece sits and how it is handled can help it stay part of your everyday.
- Dust with care. Use a soft cloth and follow the finish-specific instructions. Avoid rough pads or unapproved cleaners on delicate surfaces.
- Support the whole piece. Lift a vase or decorative object from its body or base, rather than a narrow rim or small detail.
- Check before adding water. Do not assume a decorative vessel is watertight. Follow its intended use and protect the surface underneath it.
03 / Throws & textiles
Keep the soft things feeling like home.
Fibres, colours and weaves need different kinds of care. The sewn-in care label is the best starting point for your own textile.
- Read before washing. Check the care label for washing, drying and specialist-cleaning instructions. Do not assume every throw can be machine washed.
- Treat marks gently. Follow the recommended spot-cleaning method. Avoid vigorous rubbing that could disturb the weave or finish.
- Rest between uses. Store textiles clean and dry. Fold them loosely and keep them away from prolonged direct sunlight when not in use.
A few things you might wonder
Care, without the guesswork.
Can I use the dishwasher, microwave or oven?
Only when the instructions for the actual product say it is suitable. This demo does not verify appliance ratings. If you are unsure, ask the shop before using an appliance.
Can I machine wash a throw?
Check its care label first. Different fibres and finishes can require different washing and drying methods.
Where can I find the instructions for my piece?
For a real purchase, look at the product information, packaging and care label supplied by the shop. If something is unclear, contact the shop with the product name.
